| Seireitei is a circular shiro with four main entrances, ten days walk apart, each guarded by a Gate Guardian.
These gates are called:
The Black Ridge Gate (黒隆門, Kokuryōmon) (in the North)
The Blue Stream Gate (青流門, Shōryūmon) (in the East)
The Red Hollow Gate (朱洼門, Shuwaimon) (in the South)
The White Way Gate (白道門, Hakutōmon) (in the West)

| The Academy is a sprawling, multiple story building with architecture typical of Seireitei. It has an open courtyard, many class rooms, dormitories and practice areas for Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō, and Kidō.

| Rukongai is divided into 320 districts (80 in North Rukongai, 80 in West Rukongai, etc.), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numbered (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful, District 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area.

| The abyss is the last unknown area in hell, having its dark depths which no one knows where the bottom of it is. Some speculate it leads to the center of hell but for the most part no one really knows how long or far down this great thing goes. but they know traversing it leads to something completely different and not quiet but very no scratch that extremely odd. Also within the abyss is many many many different brantching tunnels and levels. and then there's the Sin Fall's. which is a massive waterfall of molten souls which pours them into the abyss. the only one to have fully explored this to day is auro. and it took him.. 13 years.
